CHEWBACCA, as seen in Star Wars : Return of the Jedi |
1:1 Scale, #8 of #10 tentatively, this piece is made with a fiberglass reinforced
urethane resin skull, resin teeth, moveable jaw hinges, with a latex
skin and different shades of synthetic hair |
This can be a wearable piece of course, but I know of only a handfull of people that
would be able to pull that off anyway, so this will be one of my most
prized displays ! |
The pictures above show how these bust's are shipped. As anyone knows in this hobby,
it's very rare to receive an item looking exactly as described, or as pictured,
so I've kept these pics on this page as a testiment to this. |

CUSTOMIZATION |

Although this bust is a masterpiece right out of the box, most will customize a piece
to their own liking. And I strongly believe that this is what was intended
by the original artist, to provide the best pallette possible
for whichever movie one choses to immitate. I have already started my own customizations.
Altough earlier I had advertised an Empire Strikes Back likeness,
I changed my mind and decided that I like the Return of the Jedi likeness better.

Below are the completed first stages of the transformation. |
This transformation entails a salon cut and style, lip pigment , eyeliner,
and PLENTY of industrial strength Hair Spray ! |
There will be further customizing to this bust in the near future.
There's still some work to be done to define the lower chin area a bit more,
and a few more styling nuances, with some hair addition/subtractions from the
corners of his mouth ect. But for now, these pics will give you some idea
of my progress. |
